Iridium Certus

VesseLINK is the marine terminal installed to use the new Iridium Certus service, operating on the constellation of Iridium Next satellites.

It features two easy-to-install elements: the omnidirectional satellite antenna and the control unit.

The VesseLink guarantees global voice and data communication, including poles, three dedicated voice lines services and a data rate of up to 352/704 kbps (upload / download) *. In addition, the integrated tracking system and in the future it will be possible to use the guaranteed band mode up to 256 Kbps.

L’unità di controllo presenta tre porte RJ45 LAN PoE per la connessione a telefoni VoIP o a PC, una porta RJ45 WAN e una porta RJ- 14 per la connessione ad un classico telefono analogico, con la quale è possibile ottenere, tramite uno splitter, due linee telefoniche separate. Il sistema integra la comunicazione Wi-Fi con standard IEEE.802.11 b\g.

&The control unit has three LAN LAN RJ45 ports for connection to VoIP or PC telephones, an RJ45 WAN port and an RJ-14 port for connection to a classic analog telephone, with which it is possible to obtain, via a splitter, two separate telephone lines. The system integrates Wi-Fi communication with the IEEE.802.11 b \ g standard.

It is the ideal terminal for pleasure boats, fishing boats and merchant ships that need reliable voice and data communication.


* The data rate of 352/704 Kbps (upload / download) can be obtained by updating the terminal firmware.
